that whole area is a mess lately,have you seen what they did to Skyline Dr heading into Ringwood,they milled the road ,both ways in Ringwood and there going to leave it that was, there trying to slow everyone down.Let me tell you it sucks my front tire woobles like crazy,the only ones that are slowing down are the bikes cause the cars are still driving like crazy.I live in that ares and have to use it all the time,did I tell you it sucks.

Someday, someone from staff at AMA will see these posts and get the states onboard with signage for motorcyclists concerning road construction hazards.Who knows just someday that might happen.

Glad you made it up OK. It sickens me tho think of some situations with the uneven pavement that I have only been lucky enough to need to drop down and not go up. Grooved roads ready for paving are the pits, even if you don't change lanes. They just throw you all over.

At least you made the transition well. On I-295, in a construction zone, 2 riders died within hours of each other. Tried to make the a lane change. New lane was higher and it was dark. Threw both riders down in front of traffic. Cars couldn't stop in time.

I love that ride also,had the pleasure of having the whole park to myself,had luch at the barbaque joint on 9w just past the Bear Mtn Bridge,then headed back home thru Bear Mt Park then thru Harriman didn't have another car going my way until I hit Rtr 17,nice Sunny afternoon about 75% out,you don't get many chances like that
