The wife and I were just talking about this yesterday and she said I might make her a widow unlike some dude at her work who quit riding due to a crash he had and one his friend died in. I always tell her I will have died having the time of my life except the last few seconds HOLY SHI.....
I've never had a woman say anything to me about it. . But, occasionally a guy will tune up and start the crap. I usually ask them if they play golf. 99 times out of 100 they say yes. Then I say "Well, ya better quit playing cause hundreds of guys are killed every year on the gold course by lightening, cart accidents, getting hit in the head with a golf ball etc." They usually STFU.

Everybody dies, eventually. Why is this such a hard concept to grasp? I say it's better to go doing something or someone you love, rather than crapping your Depends in a nursing home praying Death takes you tonight in your sleep.

About 6000 bikers will lose their lives this year on our nations highways. About 38,000 car and suv drivers and riders will lose their lives this year on our nations highways. With those odds, want a lift home on my bike???

I just tell them I prefer die doing what I love doing is...riding Harleys !. I tick them off at the end by "When I'm lying in a casket, I'd rather be wearing my Harley Gear from head to toe and sporting my middle fingers".
