Maybe we could get the cagers (bogeys) to quit driving everytime their is a car wreck! After all the they cause most of the problems because they are not paying attention. I waited till I was 55 to start riding. I have no intention of listening to their bs any more. If I go down, it has been a great ride!

Me being the typical smart a$$ that I am. Usually would respond with dripping sarcasm " Wow. I'm so glad you brought that to my attention. I had absolutely no Idea that motorcycles were dangerous. I think I'll go home right now and put my bike up for sell and by me a tank.. I want to thank you again for letting me in on this secret.".

I usually don't hear from them much after that. As I walk away they mutter, "ahole"

I like to tell them the one about " I want to die in my sleep like my Grandfather, not screaming and yelling like the others in his car".. someone else has used this one on other smart a$$ answers and I believe it would work here also.. Also I have always been told that it wasn't up to me when I die, like it wasn't up to me when I was born.. If given a choice I would have been born 300 years ago and you guys would be having to read about me in history class.. Live life like it's worth living..

I was at a bar with some friends one night and was outside with a couple of my friends while they were smoking.

Another guy standing there smoking cigarettes made one of those "those things are dangerous. I know so-and-so and they got killed on one" speeches.

I found the irony of a smoker standing there telling me whats dangerous and what can kill me too hilarious to not make an immediate smart *** rebuttle.

I try to flip the conversation and answer in a low tone-
Yeah it is true motorcycles are dangerous...
BUT,
I think what makes them the most dangerous is all those people that drive cars:
talking on cellphones will driving
texting while driving
not doing a complete stop
eating and driving etc. etc.
eventually you get to the one THEY do while driving and they will stair with a blank face.
