Halloween Harley
To add a bit more, a chrome skull on the handlebars, a bat on the fork brace, some spiders on the saddlebags, a couple of ghosts on the gas tank and some Halloween garland wrapped around the bars.
We got a lot of compliments, waves, thumbs up & other cool reactions.
We went to a Halloween party at a local biker bar last night (Friday). My nephew's band was the headliner there. It was a sold out show! (Sweet - gotta brag on the nephew a bit). The cool thing was, it attracted a lot of 20-somethings. I don't care what you say, a bunch of 20-something women in skimpy costumes is always a nice sight.
Some of my favorite comments from the party were:
"Did you rent that bike to go with your costumes?"
(We were "dressed as bikers" - it was pretty chilly, so, layers, leather, chaps)
My response was "Yeah. It was a bitch getting it in the car to bring it over here"
"What's your costume supposed to be? Are you supposed to be a biker?"
My response "Yeah. Was the bike one of your first clues?"
Then there was my wife spanking some chick in a school girl outfit... somehow, I can imagine never getting tired of seeing something like that.
(Sorry. No pics. It was a spontaneous event. By the time I caught it, it was over.)
Anyway... here's some pics of the bike. You can go to my photobucket page & check out more.
