Really quite surprised at the results so far. From the threads I've read on helmets it seem the majority preach FF.

You forgot "turban" in the poll. It is the law to wear a helmet where I live, but if you're east indian...get this, you are allowed to just wear a turban. I have to wonder what the insurance companies take on this would be. Nothing against east indians, but they get a special RCMP uniform as well. They also are allowed to wear their head gear in a Canadian Legion.

Do you think if I moved to India I would have as much leeway?

I have a 1/2 but looking into full face for bad weather. I too live in a helmet free state and only use the helmets when on the interstate or traveling through states that have helmet laws. I belive in the "Let those who ride to decide" thing. Everyone has their reasons either pro or con.

3/4 Shoei because 1st, it's the only one I could find that fits my head comfortably and secondly, I got tired of paying the blessed helmet tickets I was getting.
