I would suggest learning a lot more prior to modifying your motorcycle. Never heard of trail? Put down the torches and step away from the motorcycle.
The newest models have changed to an even longer trail to make handling even more lazy 26° / 6.69 in. The diagram below is for an earlier year which was new at the time.
My advice to the OP is seek professional advice prior to proceeding.
Without cutting the frame you can lengthen your seat to handlebar mount. This is 6'-7" on a unmodified frame with excellent handling and far superior ride characteristics than stock.

FH I'm a little confused...wouldn't such an upright rake angle lead to a decreased trail measuring with 4-1/2* trees? I thought taht was the proper usage for raked trees was to decrease trail on bikes with higher neck angles?
sorry...sick and can't sleep right now. more than a bit foggy.

Normally, you're correct; raked trees on raked frames is used to decrease trail, and raked trees on a stock frame can often result in too little trail for stability. However, the key on the HD tourers is that the neck post is in front of the fork tubes, rather than behind like "normal" bikes. That allows a steep angle and longer than normal trail. It's also why one hears of the tourers occasionally doing the high speed wobble more often than the other bike lines, and is probably due to something getting slightly out of adjustment/worn.
"What we provide is a really nice set of HHI triple trees and an outline telling you everything youll need to know to set your bike up right!
Yes there is cutting, chopping, wiring, cussing, and expense involved! If it was cheap and easy... everybody would do it!"
