10th MEHOG Rally
Hi Everyone,
I just got back from the HOG rally in Bahrain, and man was it awesome.
This was my first event, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I'll definitely be going to more rallys from now on.
There was about 250 bikes registered and they came from all over the Middle East, ******, Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain. I was the only one there from Geneva, but I went with my friends from Amman, so it was great.
Anyway, the weather was like 30deg celcius, excellent roads, lots to do, so if you are thinking about a winter destination for the family, and want nice weather, think of Bahrain...everyone speaks English, great food, completely Americanised setting (ie all the chains of restaurants you are used to in the US) and lots to do for the kids. Great beaches and a really good Harley dealership means you can just rent a bike a cruise around...as an added bonus, GPS works there.
