Default Waterproof Glasses

I know there is no true waterproof glasses, but I'm looking for something close.

I ride with a carbon fiber helmet that I love. I HATE full face helmets or the 3/4 with a shield. I have tried those cruiser goggles, but the rain just goes around them and blurs my vision. I'm looking for a clear lense type of goggle that will keep the water away from my eyes while riding in the rain. I will pack them with my rain gear. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Murph

Look around at stores that carry pool stuff. There are small swim goggles that keep the water out of your eyes even under water and I'd think that would work for what you want.

Absolutely zero of the glasses at that webpage will keep out water. Did you look at them?

I used to have a pair of Pan Optics that worked well in the rain. They are now part of the 7eye brand.

I had the Bora's.

The swim goggles are not impact resistant, so you'd need goggles over your goggles.

Have you considered a couple of drops of Rain-X in each eye before you ride?

Before the pitchforks and torches come out, I was being facetious. Sorry.

Can't think of one thing. Your question is kinda like the "Well Mrs. Lincoln other than that how did you like the play?"

I plan on getting these http://www.swimoutlet.com/product_p/2316.htm They're only $20 and actually look kinda neat IMO.

I too ride in the rain, when it's warm weather, and was wondering what to do about not being able to see and I'd completely forgotten about swim goggles (and I used to swim AAU!). These look like they'll be good enough for the 'safety', though it doesn't specify they're 'shatterproof', it does say the stuff they're made of is strong, which is all I need *personally*. They still might not be enough for you or others, so it's up to you whether these are going to be good enough for you or not.

These look promising. I have been looking at the BMX googles, but the lens look too flimsy.
