I know there is no true waterproof glasses, but I'm looking for something close.
I ride with a carbon fiber helmet that I love. I HATE full face helmets or the 3/4 with a shield. I have tried those cruiser goggles, but the rain just goes around them and blurs my vision. I'm looking for a clear lense type of goggle that will keep the water away from my eyes while riding in the rain. I will pack them with my rain gear. Anyone have any suggestions?
Look around at stores that carry pool stuff. There are small swim goggles that keep the water out of your eyes even under water and I'd think that would work for what you want.
I too ride in the rain, when it's warm weather, and was wondering what to do about not being able to see and I'd completely forgotten about swim goggles (and I used to swim AAU!). These look like they'll be good enough for the 'safety', though it doesn't specify they're 'shatterproof', it does say the stuff they're made of is strong, which is all I need *personally*. They still might not be enough for you or others, so it's up to you whether these are going to be good enough for you or not.
I have tried similar ones along with the googles w/foam. They all let water get around the lens and into your eyes. It is hard to see when there is rain water burning your eyes.

These look promising. I have been looking at the BMX googles, but the lens look too flimsy.
