Wow mudpuddle that picture brings back alot of memories. I had a 1965 Triumph bonny that was almost identicle except mine was blue / grey. Back then we used to put cleats on our boots and drag our heels at night to create a shower of sparks on the highway. No helmet, no glasses, no common sense either. Sometimes I wonder how I made it to today.....................BG

Those were danger days for sure George.
When I was 16 I bought my first brand new sickle. 650 Trumpet, the single carb model,
had the rack on the tank like in the picture above. Green/white.
It was something like $1200, wanted a new Sporty, but they were about 200 more.
