I've been riding for 28 years and have had several accidents. I've been rear ended 2 times, hit from the side once and gone over a few hoods (left turners and pull outs). I've been able to limp away each time and learned from my mistakes.

I had one not with another vehicle, "A German Shepard" ran across in front of me back in 81'. I center punched him, probably broke his ribs into his lung. He made it across the road to HIS yard and died.

I came off my bike, slid down the road on my arms and knees. Tore ALL the ligaments away from the bone, torn miniscus, torn cartlidge, on my left leg, and some serious road rash. They took scalpal like things and opened up the wounds and scraped out the tar and stones. Man that hurt!!! I was off work 4 months, sued the owners of the dog, they counter sued for killing their dog. We settled prior to trial, I got $10K...Whoopie. Haven't gone down since. Knock,Knock!!!

You need more options. Hit a bale of shingles that fell of a truck on the freeway going 60mph. Road rash hit a orange barrel with my face (No helmet) cut my knee bad just missed the knee cap. Went to hospital. They took 70 some Xrays and nothing broke. Asian Dr. with heavy accent says "You lucky you not little stickman, you bounce down hiway" Iam 6' and go 300lbs. I was $@#&ed up for a few months. Bike went down the road on crash bars.

Been in a motorcyle accident?

Simple Question, So why do all the Moral Orals got to chime in with their advice instead of just answering the question?.
Everybody all ready knows that Info you all keep Preaching
I say close the Church and sell the Bell, it's already been said.

because this question has a long history of being asked by people who are afraid of getting hurt. ki4top clarified himself, and now we're past that in this thread.
Never been called a moral oral

Been down twice in 20+ years of riding..... Chit happens. I would rather die doing what I love to do than live doing nothing.

this thread is becoming interesting...the stories alone...

maybe there should be a new thread with better options (or at least more comprehensive choices)

Let's see.........

Hit a deer, broke a collar bone.
Was pulled out in front of, flew 20 yards over the car and had gravel dug out of my forehead.
Lost control at a RR crossing one morning that it had heavily dewed....landing face first in RR gravel.
Had a Cadilac decide to turn left while I was passing him. Broke my arm.

seems to me thee are more...but with all of these head injuries...i don't remember.
No wonder I've developed a chronic migraine
