as i soon venture into the world of motorcycles for the first time...i've been hit with many people giving me a hard time about the number of accidents related to other drivers and how it is too dangerous etc etc.
so...for my own non-scientific poll, i'd like to ask how many of you have been in an accident while riding your motorcycle...
I think maybe a catagory for, just got stupid and lost it on a corner, might be something folks would want to know. Got cut off by a cage and laid it down, nothing major, no police report or anything, 20 years ago.

Something about the road queen, it loves to be on it's side. I'm not the only one too. A couple guys I know have had this problem when old no. 7 drives. Quit the jack, got rid of the queen and the glide has been upright ever since

yeah, agreed...unfortunately, i can't edit the poll.
Yep. Hit deisel fuel on road at night. Went down so fast it was amazing. Luckily was going fairly slow, so no huge damage to me or bike. Skeeered me though. Got back on the horse.
Maybe the question you should be asking yourself is what's more important to you, avoiding risk or enjoying yourself on your bike. When people find out you started riding they're going ask you about the danger, but as time goes buy it will tail off and you'll start to feel more comfortable on the bike. I guess it really just matter if you fall into the, I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees, etc type crowd or not.
Do you quit driving every time there is a horrific car wreck. We have had a couple here lately. You just do the best you can and hope for the best every time you drive and or ride. Like some said earlier, if you are going to let the nay sayers scare you then don't ride. When your time is up, go doing something you love!
