dinovelvet do you know what brand lights your buddy had? I was wondering about heat, but my engine doesnt get hotter than 200 degrees here in florida, and it has a good airflow, as long as they are away from the exhaust on my bike i think ill be ok, thanks for the heads up.

Trukcerdave thanks for the ebay heads up, I think i might go that route and try the cheap ones, if they fail i at least have the wiring done for better ones.

Crok, where did you buy your lights?
Cujo, are the lizard lights worth the cash?
locodude where did you get the electropod set?

Im definitly gonna get some leds for my bike, I just want to be educated on which brand is the best for the price, i doubt im gonna get the HD ones that are over $100. I want to mount them under my tank, maybe somehow under the seat. Since I dont have any turn lights I was thinking about making some leds turnlights too with an LED light pod or something. Also I think the LEDS I wire to the tank i think im going to get some sort of quick disconnect electrical connector so If I ever need to take the tank off I can leave the LEDS attached but disconnect the wires. thanks for all the input!

I have my Night Train in the shop now getting LEDs. I'll post pics as soon as I get it back. I ordered the Joe Florida kit from Ebay, can't beat the price.

I put the 180 kit from joe florida on, green, i have yellow pearl paint, looks great , i have the remote and can strobe or breath or steady. easy to install. Joe's are flexible and you can put them anywhere just hide the wires. Good kit and fast shipping . Carroll out.

I have put the Kuryakyn 7 color LED's on my
Ultra and I am very pleased. On my previous
bike I installed blue LED's and was wishing I had
gone with the 7 color, so this time I bought them
first. They are the type that fades from one color
to the next color or you can make them blink or
stay on one color, you can also make them change
fast or slow with the controller on the system.
I have them placed as follows:
1 on engine bar facing down 4"led
4 on tank underside facing down 4"led
1 on air cleaner housing facing down 4"led
2 on frame above starter facing down 4"led
2 on saddlebag guards facing down 8"led
