I finally broke down and hooked up the battery tender. Supposed to be 4 & 5 degrees for the next couple a weeks. Mmmm... guess I might as well put her up on the jack and start playing with her. Hehe... oddly that sounds kinda good don't it? Wish I had electric heat in the garage. Oh well, gotta start lookin for some wood. Gonna be a long winter!
I hear ya. Not nearly that cold here in oklahoma but it's supposed to get down to 22 tonite. I went to Wally world yesterday and bought the schumacher battery tender that came with a set of pigtails. Since my bike already has the pigtails I put the extra set on my lawnmower. Long winter for sure. I'd like to go riding but don't have any chaps and can't afford to get sick so I guess I'll just dick around here on the forums....
Start finding wood!? Wasn't that supposed to happen months ago??
I have a pellet stove in my shop that I run during the night and a old(actually got it from my grandfather) warm mornings wood stove that I run during the days. If I let it get below 40 in there, the slab in unbearable to stand on all day. I guess that is fortunate for my bikes, they are always warm. No tender here.
On the other hand, it rarely gets that cold here.....4 degrees BURRR!
