I am thinking about buying the HOGPRO(Panther) FatBoy Saver Set of wheels, pulley, and rotors. I have a 2004 FatBoy and looking to replace the solid wheels. The Panther wheels look pretty nice and affordable.
Can anyone tell me their experience with this product or company, good or bad? They are advertised as a sponsor on this forum site.
Also, my bike is pretty much stock aside from Stage 1 and V&H Big Shots. There are 3 different choices on the site listed above. Is the size of my stock tires listed on the tire itself?
I bought wheels, tires, and rotors from HogPro.Jerry and Andy are good people to deal with.I had a problem with some rear rotor bolts being to long. One quick phone call and Jerry sent the correct part out UPS overnight at their expense. There will be problems at times but how someone chooses to handle a problem when they arise is how I make my judgement. These guys are a pleasure to do business with.
As for your stock tires.I imagine you have a 130 front and 150 rear.It will be marked on the tire.If you are planning on new tires you might consider going with the 18 x 3.50 wheels. The 18s look much better than the 16s IMO.They'll mount the tires, rotors, and pulley on your new wheels and all you have to do is install them.No down time at all.
I'm getting ready to put a 240 kit on my Nightrain. After looking at wheels till I'm blue in the face, the wheels I want are from Hogpro. I've called and spoke to Jerry several times and he has always been professional.
