Went past the place on Route 541 in Mount Holly today and it looked deserted with only some trophies in the window. There was also a for sale sign out in front. Not sure if it's new or if it's left over from when the building was left vacant by the car dealership
For what it's worth.. we stopped in the day before their final day.. the scuttlebutt was that the owners were ready to retire.. they apparently had 3 or 4 different buyers in line to take over the dealership, but Harley Corporate HQ would not approve any of them.. the rumor being everyone interested wanted to keep Mills as it was and not turn it into the now standard HD dealership... who knows how true that is.. but that's the story we heard from a former employee..
