Sure I like the new ones but am I going to run out and sell or trade my 06 RK. I don't think so. When the time comes for a replacement or an additional bike then I will have one. I am very happy with my Road King and I have it RIGHT NOW.
No, this was down at the Woodstock, IL Harley dealership, I think I remeber him telling me they got 27 '07s in that Friday night, had about 12-15 already on the floor and ready to go Saturday. Biggest dealer I've been to and everytime I've been there they were great.
OK, thanks! Woodstock is pretty far for me so I called Kutters today and they will have a couple demo's ready by Wednesday. Screw Wisconsin HD.
I am happy with the older ones!!! Just traded an 05 Sporty for another 2000 WG. HD has been making them for 100 years this way! Test drove a few 07's they are nice but, I really like being able to pull the carb off and fix it real quick or, replace it if needed. They are all good! When my truck is paid off, just over a year from now, I will probably be looking to get a bagger possibly??? Just for the serious long hauls we want to take.
I rode an 07 RK at Rapid City during the rally. I really liked the 6 speed out on I-90; couldn't tell a whole lot of difference between the 96" and my 03 88".
Yes have a Heritage Classic with 1600 miles on it so far. Fast and smooth. Added Sert, Se slash down slip fit mufflers, and Se air box at 1100. Had her crusing at 90 with no vibration and crystal clear mirrors.
