Nolan N84 N-Com.

Best full face helmet I've ever owned. Wear it pretty much year-round.

Thinking of trying a Biltwell 3/4 in megaflake black this summer though...

I wear either a HJC Symax flip up full face or a HJC 3/4. It just depends on my mood. A couple of years ago I circled Lake Erie with the 3/4 w/o the shield. I only had my eye glasses for protection. It was comfortable. I like the full face when it gets a little cooler outside.

KBC VR-1X. In winter wear neck gaiter with it. Reasonably warm.

FF Shoei. I've found them to be the most comfortable, and worth the money for it. The problem I have had with cheap helmets is they may feel fine at first and for quick trips, but after a few hours they can start to hurt.

Sometimes I go without a helmet, though, too - my attitude is that I wear either nothing or a full face. My thought is that I would rather just die than completely disfigure my face and live.

Default What Lid for the Skid

Have always worn full face helmets over the years on my "other" bikes.

I like Arai helmets because they make a long oval size and, therefore, fit my head great. Stupid expensive but very well made and some great graphics.

Since I bought my Road King I have been wearing a half helmet. I ride almost every day to work and get up to freeway speeds for long enough to make the ears ring. Would use ear plugs if I was at speed for more than 20 minutes. That being said, I do like the greater situational awareness that comes from the traffic sounds when wearing a half helmet. And I like the greater visibility.

For a long high-speed day on the highway I would still probably break out the full face.

Ride safe,
DitchDog

Seven Zero Seven Nemesis Modular. Well-vented but it does fog a little at the lights when it's chilly outside.

With any helmet, fit is the key. Brand names are less important. A well vented full face is not hot in the summer, contrary to popular belief. I alway wear full face. I took mine off for a while in PA where there is no helmet law, and man the bugs in the face! Hadn't had that in years! The modulars seem to be nice also, but I don't have any experience with them.

Nolan modular. When it's cold, when it's wet, or when I'm planning more than 15 or 20 miles on an Interstate highway. Does the job just fine. But I do prefer a half-helmet in general.
