I noticed snow on the ground. If you crank it up cold, you should ride it at least fifteen or twenty miles to heat it up to normal temp. If not you'll cause condensation to form.

Pulled it out of a heated garage and ran it for about 10 min and of course I had to rev it up several times in the process and put it back in a heated garage. Hopefully no condensation forms because I sure the hell ain’t taking a spin in the snow.

Have to admit we've started our bikes up in the garage a few times just to hear them rumble. We also enjoy the smell of the exhaust which lingers in the garage for days.

Wonder if there could be market for a Harley mood CD like one of those nature sound cds. And maybe some Harley exhaust incense to lift the spirits.

Old cooper penny.

I searched the forum and found that a penny will do wonders on cleaning up your little problem. Doesn't scratch the chrome at all. Anything else you stand the chance of scratching it. Never tried Oven cleaner but I would imagine it works as well.

I agree. Easy-Off works great. Chrome is easily damaged. I never use steel wool.
