66 going on 50, intend to ride until I cant hold the bike up any more, figure somewhere in my 80's I will go to a trike. Never, Never say Never...........(FDR)
I'm 58 and was just thinking back a few years when the guy with a bagger was the designated storage guy. every time you stopped people would pile all their junk in the bags so it would be "safe".
Now I ride a street glide and have a night train too. the bagger is for long rides and the train is for around town and bike nights. it makes a difference having the room to put rain gear, chaps, jackets, gloves, sun screen, water bottles, tools, goggles, warm shirt, dry socks, maps, and all the stuff you wish you would have brought if you had saddle bags. The funny thing is women. when i ride the night train they ask, " is that a Harley?" when I ride the street glide, they say, " I love Harley Davidsons". It's the look people are getting to know and associate the motorcycle with....

Got saddle bags and a tourpac and don't tote stuff for other people. They can put leather saddle bags on their bike if they want to tote something.
My wife has my bike packed and she needs the room.
It you want a Sport lookin bike you ride with what you can carry on the sport bike.
If you want to ride in comfort git a bagger. I ain't yo mama.........
59 here. Will be 60 in July 2011. I bought my first harley in 1971, used Sportster, then traded up for a new Super Glide in 1977. That was the year for the Liberty Editions since it was 200th birthday for USA. Anyone in our age group gotta remember that ... all the new bikes were "red, white and blue". Traded up for a new Electra Glide in 1982, and have been on baggers ever since. Currently have a 2010 Road King and lovng it, seems like these bikes just get better each year. Ready to retire in a few years so probably be looking at an Ultra since I'll need all the comfort I can get for my tired old ***.
Senior my ***....
Im 58 years young ride like im 18....Ill ride neck and neck with anyone, even in the corners, I'll rub shoulders with ya in a corner....
Now that dose not mean I would not like a StreetGlide for two up and trips....That way I could solo out my FXDC and soup it up....
I'm 69 will be 70 in April. Don't do long trips, so no bagger in my future. My Deuce will most likely be my last bike. I got a new LePera 2-up silouette seat which has better lumbar support than stock for my bad back. I plan keep riding until, well, I can't ride anymore. Make sense?
