I heard that Harley has been secretly manufacturing a new bike in Los Lobos Mexico. Word is that they have put the 1200 motor from the XR into a 2" stretched soft tail frame. It's got a 200 on the rear, 24" seat height and looks like a cross between a bobber and a chopper.
I'm savin' up my money starting now!!
if that is true than i am saving my cash too that would awesome.
I predict that they are testing the waters with the Ultra Limited and plan on putting the 103 in all the bikes next year. I am amazed at how many Ultra Limited's I see out there! You wouldn't think a bike that expensive in today's economy would sell as well as it is. My local dealer can't keep them in stock! I think the 103 is the main reason for it's popularity. It was definitely a major factor for me when I bought mine.
Anyone remember the rumor about 2009 being the last year for the Road Glide and all of the talk about Harley bringing back the Tour Glide name and making the model the first water cooled Tourer? What happen? The Road Glide custom comes out. Same great cycle except with a touch of Street Glide styling.
Regarding the V-rod's demise, maybe we can expect the V-Rod custom or beter yet the V-Tour Road Glide.

I heard today on FOX new that Honda will be taking over part of the manufacturing of HDs and moving the remaining portion to Oshawa Ontario, apparently moving into an old GM plant
