My close friend live out there by you. He said you guys are taking a beating.
I can remember the winter of 94. It snowed here in PA every other day for 2 weeks. The weather man said we were stuck in some kind of cycle. We were constantly shoveling snow. I had so much snow that I ran out places to put it. I called my buddy and he brought over his backhoe and pushed it all up into the yard for me. A few weeks later things heated and it started to rain. All the snow melted overnight and by mid morning everything was flooded. That year was a sucked!!
Yea, I remember that winter there just wasn't any room to put the stuff anymore. My mail box and paper box was buried. In Feb/March of that year I just stuck a 2x4 in the snow and stapled a cardboard shoebox on it and tied a (White Pillowcase on just to surrender). Then I went to SW FL and enjoyed the Gulf.
I rode to work tonight, otherwise I would not be here. But there is a new crease right in the middle of my seat now, several scary moments. The roads are not too bad, but right in front of the plant is a sheet of ice.
I don't know how you poor guys do it in those cold/snowy states! I'd go Postal if I couldn't ride for months on end!
You should read the threads on the Touring forum. I think we have a few too many snowed in forum members losing their minds over the synthetic oil and Son's of Anarchy threads. It's going to be a long winter.
