Do you get a louder sound with the 1.75" or the 2" baffles? Haven't been able to hear them together to be able to tell the difference.

The 2" will be louder than the 1.75"

Check out Rush's website for links to sound clips of the different baffles available.

Where are you finding the sound clips? I didn't see them anywhere on the site.

I've gone to the Rush webpage and listened to the sound bytes, but they all sounded the same to me..

Maybe it's the old 'puter I'm using or maybe my ears are shot..

But anyway, the larger the baffle diameter the larger the tone, so the 2.0" would be slightly louder than the 1.75" (all things considered)...

By the way, they are excellent mufflers and I'm running the 2.0" Baloney Cut model on my Wide Glide.

Click on chrome series and then click on a bike type. The sounds are at the bottom of the page.

here some on a dyno... 1 3/4 or 2'' ????dont say..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dBB-gCdv_8

I love my 2'' and with the cams they even sound deeper...

Three yrs ago when I got mine on our new 07, they were putting up to 2'' without anything else, just add the pipes only and go, and they were doing fine...

When I called the factory this fall they Rush Tech said U can go 2'' but with the bigger baffle U lose a little on low end compared to the 1 3/4" cause it had a little better back pressure...

Heres another one that will let U hear what they really sound like, really close to actual, I still love the deepness of them.
Others post theirs in a garage to echo the sound...

My wife's Heritage had 1.75 and she wanted more. I spent the $80.00 and switched to 2.25 and they are great, real deep. Not as loud as my Rineharts but real nice.
