I love my 2'' and with the cams they even sound deeper...
Three yrs ago when I got mine on our new 07, they were putting up to 2'' without anything else, just add the pipes only and go, and they were doing fine...
When I called the factory this fall they Rush Tech said U can go 2'' but with the bigger baffle U lose a little on low end compared to the 1 3/4" cause it had a little better back pressure...
Heres another one that will let U hear what they really sound like, really close to actual, I still love the deepness of them.
Others post theirs in a garage to echo the sound... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxZkO...eature=related

Reason: added more
My wife's Heritage had 1.75 and she wanted more. I spent the $80.00 and switched to 2.25 and they are great, real deep. Not as loud as my Rineharts but real nice.
