In CT for a couple of shows in Uncasville and was out killing time today. Stopped into Brothers Harley-Davidson in Branford CT to look around.
It's a pretty good size store with lots of bikes and lots of stuff. Even had a pretty good selection of aftermarket chit as well.
After lookin around for over an hour I couldn't find even one thing that I wanted to buy.
This has never happened to me before. What's wrong with me. Someone please help me to understand.
you either have everything you need/want....or you're suffering from the current economic depression...telling yourself "no you don't need it" is becoming subliminally comfortable.
For YEARS now, the only thing in a Harley store that I even care to look at are the new bikes. I've got all of the "Harley stuff" that I will ever need, and then some. I think you have just grown up, that's all.
maybe your just sickened by the prices these dealers ask for **** like t-shirts and jackets.
I used to enjoy collecting them from dealers all over back in the late 70's.....now they're way too expensive and gaudy. They were actually plain and cool back in "the old days" pre-commercializm days

I didn't look at any clothes. It was parts and accessories. I stopped buying shirts and such a while back. People still give them to me but haven't bought any for a couple years now. As a rule I don't buy anything that says Harley-Davidson on it. I did buy a helmet a few weeks ago and it had Harley Davidson on the sides in lil plastic chrome letters. 1st thing I did when I got it home was to break off all the lil plastic letters. I ain't payin to advertise for some business any more if I can help it.
