They had to order the risers in my sig pic. Think it took like 3 weeks from my initial to actually get them. Was still cheaper then going to the local dealer and ordering
I've had the same experience with them, but I don't mind it.
They are giving a nice discount, partially by not having to wrap a lot of money into a massive inventory. Large inventory is equal to a ton of cash collecting dust on the shelf, rather than working for you.
I do most of my online type stuff in the winter where I don't need to be in a hurry.
I ordered an HD front signal relocation kit from them last May. Waited 3 weeks and gave them a call. Guy said they were on back order. Waited 2 weeks this time before I called and found out that they lost the order.
When I finally got them, 8 weeks later, the packing slip/invoice said they took 10% off for the mix up but they never processed the credit to my credit card. I still paid full price.
I won't do anymore business with them. I don't need the hassle.
Every time I have ordered from them it has taken a while to get the parts, but they do send a shipping notice. Lake Shore HD is another good one, 20% off also.
+1 on LSHD If its in stock ive gotten my order in NY in 3 days. If out of stock depends when The motor co ships to them. LSHD will email a shipping notice. Took 6weeks on a oil temp gauge one time. The owner Bill Sparks called me at home to inform me what was going on and what I wanted to do. I was impressed. LSHD is a good company. Never read any thing bad on Chichago.
i have used them before several times with no problems..In general the items are NOT in stock..They get them from HD..Has taken from 2 to 3 weeks (10-15 working days) for most orders.
I've ordered from them a few times and it seems that every time I have ordered something it is "back ordered". I have always received my order in good condition even if not in a timely manner. I have been using M&M cycles online for the most part. I get the same discount and better customer service.
