If you need something in a hurry, don't order online - period.
Common sense.
You can't expect someone to sell at a solid discount, and stock millions in inventory at the same time. The two just don't mix.
Ordering online saves you money, more often then not there is no sales tax (neutralizes the shipping cost), and some of the stuff is actually in stock.
If you can't accept that, then go to your local dealership and pay full price. If he don't have it in stock, he can likely find which other dealer might have it in stock.
Exactly. The key with online business is extremely low inventory, sometimes no inventory at all. You can't have low prices and high inventory. High inventory means risk and means warehouse to store it. This costs money.
I buy all my stuff online, either from HD of Chicago or Lakeshore (not Zanotti because I'm in PA and they charge me sales tax) and never had a problem with them. Generally, it takes 1 week to receive an order, rarely more.
They have been real good to me last 5 years anything they don't have in stock takes some time just like any dealership but they always Email. Very reputable and most reasonable dealership too bad they are so far away from central CA
