So I had some routine service set up since I cant ride now anyway. Free pick up and delivery at the local dealer. They need work and have some pretty good deals on parts and labor. I am going to have the cam chain tensioners checked and most likely replaced, a front tire and some other stuff that I am not really up for doing. Pull it out of the garage after 3 months and she wont start. Battery seems to be crapped out even after being on the tender all this time. The battery I can do myself but might as well let them do it now as they really cant do the rest of the stuff if it wont run.
Damn! Well I was intending to replace the battery this spring anyway.
And so it starts
Mike, Is your bike the 05 in your sig picture.Just curious since I have a 05 also with orig. Battery. I have a couple of buds with 03 & 04"s with orig battery so I wasn't even thinkin abought a battery yet.
My 02 Ultra still has its original battery. I never have used a tender, and it started the bike today after a COLD three week layoff. ................. KNOCK ON WOOD!

Yup, its the 05 with the original battery. Never gave me a problem until now. I was going to replace it in April or so after I started riding again. You guys with the 02 and 03 factory batteries are just tempting fate. Mine failed in the driveway loading it into the dealers trailer. You cant beat that!!
Dead battery after being on a tender all this time, I would almost suspect there is some other problem going on here (perhaps even a bad battery tender).
