It seems like the dealers can push a couple thousand dollars worth of add ons when selling a new stock bike.
In your opinion, what parts and accessories are actually "needed" on a new stock bike (either from the dealer or within the first few thousand miles)?

I've never had them offer me more than ZERO in return, accesorries at trade-in.
Don't let them sell you accesorries! Buy them yourself at a discount.
Ya need a Helmet, and mandatory fingerless gloves and azzless chaps.
Ya gotta have a backrest, engine guard, and cruise control.
Its simple math really - to be a real biker you need to have 50% of the bikes value in parts and accessories or you ain't happenin'.

I am a small guy at 5'6" and I needed aftermarket pullback handlebars and a lowered seat to make the bike rideable for any distance. Did I really even need the bike----well no-------but I sure did want it !
