They're probably all ugly as hell though.

If she had people close to her who rode other bikes, then they likely trashed on Harley. That's where she got the mindset i'm sure, and not from her own hands-on experience. That's how people are.
Don't let her **** you off. Just play along and find some humor in it. Show her that her opinion doesn't really matter and that you are proud of your bike. Offer her a ride...which is actually a great way to hang out with her. That'll probably go part of the way towards changing her mind about "old man bikes" as well.
Confidence in who you are is an aphrodisiac. Walk up to her next time and ask her if she's ready for that ride.
