Chrome studs installation
Do they make a tool for installing the stud or is it just pushed through the leather and then you bend the two tabs over. I know they make a tool for installing snaps and thought there might one for this also.

There's a tool for settable studs. The place you buy the studs should also sell the tool.

You should be able to find a studding tool at any larger craft shop. There was a thread from some time back that indicated they were even available (at that time) from Walmart. Mustang Motorcycle Products sells studs and conchos http://mustangseats.com/cart/index.p...x&cPath=80_353 and, if I'm not mistaken, used to also sell the tool. It's not listed in their current catalog but, as I said above, it should be easy to find locally.

I used just use a flat leather punch, it was about 1/8 wide, poke 2 holes insert stud and bend. I usually put a block of wood on the other side of the leather, and used the blunt end of the punch to finish the bending (the first part can be done by hand).
