Eyewear?
Over glasses?
Anyone have any info on half decent looking goggles that can go over top of glasses
or are your glasses enough?
I've worn full face helmets in the past, so it was not an issue...

I wear perscription eye glasses (relatively small lense size), but I have a windshield. In good weather it seems to be just fine. I can't wear just my glasses without my windshield, my eyes tear up too much. Only solution is wrap around glasses (but you can't get them with a persription because of curved lenses, only ok if you can wear contact lenses). Still have problem with rain too. Can't find a solution to heavy rain (even with a windshield), can see through it, so I have to look just over it. Googles fog up too much, and regular glasses don't stop the water from running into my eyes (can't wipe it away fast enough). I'm stumped on that one too.
One solution is the one I use for skydiving. I have a pair of very lightweight
goggles that I wear over my glasses. They were made to fit over.
They stay in place well even with winds in excess of 150 mph.
For lack of a better solution (I dont have a windshield right now) I guess I'll
wear them for riding as well.
I was just wondering if there was some similar type designed more specifically
for riding, since these might tend to fog up at lights since they kinda need air flowing over them to keep them
clear.

There are all kinds of glasses out there that are specifially designed for biking. Any bike dealer or catalogue has them. But not a lot of choices for perscription type glasses. The problem is, for biking, the best kind of glasses are ones with the rounded lenses. This design is best for wind resistance when turning your head or even taking wind straight on. Problem is, this rounded shape interferes with prescription lenses, so you have to stick with a flatter type lense. Where again, your stuck with the problem of turning your head because of the wind hitting them from the side. Also, no benefit in the rain.
I have a pair of goggles made by SportRX that are perscription but they also tend to fog up unless I'm in motion.
I guess we poor folks with bad eyes are just screwed all around

If you have a decent windshield, glasses should be enough. I have Oakleys (prescription) with my little chopped shield and I do fine.
