Took some pics last night. Also scanned in the pic from the original purchase in Oct of 74 and my brother sitting on it in April of 84. I plan to put it back to the red on the tins.

Things I noticed (did not look at it very long)
- The speedo cable is off. No clue why or where it is.
- Sissy bar added after market
- custom paint
- tires wrong size and will rub the fenders if I even tried to use them
- I used the kicker by hand slowly for a 1/2 of a stroke and everything was moving so at least it is not siezed up
- front fender was in the other corner of the garage. I assume he tried to put it on and realized the tires were the wrong size.
- some minor rust starting on various areas of the crome

I think kerosin/ATF 50/50 is the best to poor in cylinders. WD40 is OK too.

I'd add a "weld on" hardtail, lower the front end 2", sell the front fender on ebay and put drag bars on it... then, i'd run the **** out of it... but that's just me...

Nice, I'm in the EXACT same position. I just picked up a 77 Ironhead for a killer price. I couldn't pass it up, it hasn't been started/run in about 3 years.

Don't even try to ride the bike on them old *** tires. Your just asking to go down if you do.
