I purchased an 09 XL883C two weeks ago as my first Harley. I was wondering if it's normal to hear a little valve tick when you are cruising at a constant speed.
Thanks guys for the welcome and info. I love this new machine. I have owned a Rebel, Shadow, Silver Wing, and a 650 Burgman which I will keep. I feel the Sportster is a lot more "American" user friendly-gearshift level etc. Being a musician I'm very sensitive to how things sound. I just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong.
