[sm=happy046.gif] I took the safe rider course this weekend. At 7:30 Saturday morning I had never ridden a bike, I did 5 hours on a Yamaha 250. I got home that afternoon and took my new Sporty 883 low for a ride!!! Now granted, it was only over to Mom's and Hubby was behind me on his bike watching my back but I DID IT. It's about 6 miles each way to Mom's but it's pretty curvy roads and several turns. I'm so excited and still really nervous and scared to death but OMG I rode a Harley. I did another 5 hours on the Yamaha on Sunday and at the end of the day I actually had my endorsement.
Smart Lady...Congratulations...Practice, practice, practice...
You will always be learning. I know I am after 35 years on bikes...
Been learning to ride a little over a week myself. Did my first 50+ mile ride this weekend. Was fantastic. I hope for many more years of "Learning to Ride".
