Modications in what order?
What was the general order of the mods that you made to your bike? An on going thread here about endlessly researching modications instend of getting the bike first has got me to thinking what was the order of the purchases riders make to make their bike better suit their needs.
For me it was:
Year 1:
Improved Tall boy seat, Taller Windshield, fairing pouch, hard-bag lid covers, tassles, some chrome.
Year 2:
Passenger boards, Highway pegs, Rush Slip-ons, Passing lights, Lower fairings, more chrome.
Year 3:
Stage 2 upgrade (in progress) more chrome expected.

Went with the bolt on stuff right off the bat to make the wife comfortable, then spent 2 years accumulating everything I desired, had the bike tore down to the bare frame over winter and put her back together the way I wanted.....oh yeah; also spent nearly 6 months looking for the bike in the first place and had to travel 1000 miles one way to get it. It was all worth it to me.

Well, I kept looking at this thread on the 'index', knowing dammt full well, it was jus' a "typo".
So, I FINALLY had to click on it, to find out, was it:
"Modifications in what order?"
OR
"Medications in what order?"
NOW, I know.

First thing I did was for the motor, let it BREATH and richin' it up abit. Did the PC-III, A/C and slip-on thing from fuelmoto.
Then came some comfort items, highway pegs, floorboard ext's, and higher bars, detachable passenger backrest with rack for luggage..
Oh, this is on a Road King.
As for show, not on this one, learned on my first, shiny don't make ya go or make your motor run better.

I think it all depends on how GREEN your GREEN is as to what came when.
For me, the first month was seat, backrest, pipes, K&N heavy breather, fuel processor, dyno time, and mirrors.
The second month was milage.
third month was cams
every since then just small add ons, and riding the hell out of it.
