I don't think a lot a posters here realize what OCC does now. They do fabricate the tanks & fenders in house but more importantly they fabricate wheels, sprockets & many one off parts using Haas CNC machines which they have plenty of in house. They did a bike for Stewart-Haas Racing & featured Haas Automated Machinery to machine all of their precision parts. It was interesting to see them use the Haas machines to make quite a few custom parts for that bike.
This may be the ugliest bike I have ever seen. IMO. Glad to see them go.
Vinnie and Cody paired off and started V-Force customs . http://www.vforcecustoms.com/ Dunno if they are doin any good or not .
Well, I figured they be closed up by now, or at best just doing small-time local business. Just checked their web site and see that they are part of a new motorcycle TV show called Throttle Junkies, which premieres later this month. I don't think I get any of the networks it is going to play on though...bummer.
I liked the earlier episodes and thought Jr could design pretty well and Rick is the main guy that makes it all happen. Without him, they are done. Vinnie was good at putting it all together and doing the things Rick didn't, handlebars and exhausts. I always thought Rick and Vinnie should go into business and get rich building bikes. If my dad acted like Sr, I wouldn't talk to him, either. What an ***.
My dad does act like Sr. Haven't spoken to him in 7 years. He hasn't seen his grand kids since they were babies.
paul jr. and mikey were useless. any thing paul jr. did pretty much any one could do. Then how come there aren't thousands of bike builders out there showing there bikes. I hated all the drama on the show but have you seen any of the first bikes they built up close. The fire bike was just plain incredible. Dont get me wrong there are a few hundred custom bike builders out there who are talented. But to say any one could do it, don't think so.

I think OCC took the whole Harley passion to the masses in a big way. Jesse James tried to do it but he just didn't have that something special to make his tv show and other spin-offs popular. When OCC came out I thought they were funny with the in-shop drama and they built some great bikes. But as everyone has pointed out once OCC made their millions the content of their tv episodes started to get old: Dad & Sons fight, employees get caught in the middle, all the while rushing to get client's bike assembled in time for the client's corporate showing. It doesn't surprise me to hear OCC's run has come to an end. When tv show become predictable the show becomes boring. I wish OCC many success after leaving American Chopper.
I did'nt mind the newer episodes with Jr and Mikey out of the shop, as long the show was about building a bike. I hated the JR. designs and Mikey goes to rehab crap.
