Not wearing my vest right now, it's too dang hot for the leather.

But my vest was just plain when I bought it, same thing for my jacket. Now the vest has the HDForum patch, the V HD patch on the back, HOG patch, flaming dice and my chapter patch. I have a few more I picked up at bike week that I still have to put on it. Jacket has the V HD patch on the back and the flaming dice on the front. That will do it for the jacket.

Do rags? I wear one under my helmet to soak up the sweat so I wont have a soggy helmet liner.

Dork? Who cares? Being a Trekkie for many years I've been called a lot worse.

It's your vest, jacket, patch, or motorcycle so do with it what you like. I thought that was the point of being able to make your own choices and not just follow the crowd. If you like patches and pins, wear them. If you don't do as you please. Just my .02.

BMW Rider??? What's wrong with that? I just sold my Beemer about 2 months ago. I don't know of too many bikes that aren't good for something. They sure as hell beat nothing!

Thevest that I wear in the spring and fall when it is not cold enough for a jacket has an american flag that covers the entire back, on top of that I added a patch that has an eagle that says "support our troops" I put that on while my son was serving in the Air Force. He is home now alive and well thank god. If that makes me a dork, a rub, or a poser, so be it. I believe it shows that I am proud of my country and the brave men and women that defend our right to have this stupid coversation regarding patches. if you want to wear patches go for it, who give a hoot what anybody else thinks.

No patches here...I'm more interested in riding than sewing.

I have a vest with patches and I like wearing it. Shows that I enjoy the places and events that I have been to. I show it with the patches. Steve from Az. Oh, by the way I noticed you still have the Harley sticker on your tank ................... not to **** you off, but isn`t that kinda " advertising. " Derek, have a nice day and ride safe !
That's a far fetched "jab", and my post taken out of context. Maybe you can get a patch to protect the feelings you're wearing on your sleeve.

I got patches and pins and other bits of memorabilia from my riding experiences and if y'all don't like it, too bad !!!! If that makes me dorky , so be it. But I'll be one happy patch wearing, pin sticking, good looking sumbeotch dork !!!! Can't we just all get along?
