Theres a vid of a road racer taking out a good size python I think with his knee. snake was crossing the race track, saw race bike approaching and reared up to strike it. First rider avoided it but hte second guy didn't have time to and the snake got a knee puck inthe head at 90 plus mph. Road racer 1, snake 0!!
Actually you know what would have really sucked? Having the snake jump on you after running it over, only to crash your bike and wind up laying in the middle of the road....then the sonofabitch snake comes back for you and bites your ugly ***. Now THAT would SUCK! [sm=boohoo.gif]
ROFL I was waiting for that one. Sorry Bryan, but, everytime I think of your misadventure I about laugh myself to tears.
Can you imagine the Burma Shave signs we could make from that experience?
As far as the snake goes, I have a rule...if it's got less than 2 legs or more than 4, I want nothing to do with it. I'da prolly been dead of a heartattack before I actually dumped the bike if I had ol long tall and fanged land in my lap while going down the road.
Ran over a Copperhead one day when I lived in Tennessee. Turned around and went back to see what damage I did only to see it completing it's journey across the road. When I pulled up to it, it took a defensive position and made a strike at my front tire! I backed away, turned around and went on my way. I envisioned this big snake coming around the side of my motorcycle and biting my leg. Kind of scared me.

RE: Don't Try this,.......
Damn, I hit one a month or so ago. Thank God the bastard didn't do the same to me as it did to you! I never thought about it that way. How would I explain getting bit by a rattler while riding my bike?
