Fill it up, ride 100 miles, fill it up. Really only way. My bikes vary from 40 to 50 mpg.

It's a shovel, right? They were 80 cubic inch (at least in the later years). Same as my evo, although it's a 5 speed.
I usually start looking for gas after about 100 miles. I've done 140 miles without going into reserve but it was pretty thirsty! And that was across prairie... mind you I think I also had a pretty good headwind. Hilly country and twisties and any other time you're up and down through the gears or into/out of the throttle will suck up more gas.

My Stroker Shovel 93" used to ride 90 miles then look for refill.80" should at least be 100 or more miles.

Every bike I've got, (Evo, 88, and 96) goes close to 200 miles on a tank. The 96 goes around 230-240, it has the 6 gallon tank. I don't have a fuel guage on the EVO, so I fill it up at around 100-150.
