Sounds like you're here in Houston. Glad things worked out for you and the bike. Now if we can just get a break from this rain for the weekend. I'm having withdrawals from not riding.
Yup. Happened at Highway 6 and FM529... Just imagine if I would have tried to ride yesterday.
Yup, welcome to the club. When I dumped my street bike for the first of 3 times, it was like slow motion. But I have no one to blame but myself.[:@]
all 3 times I had "some" drinks. I have never and will never again have any alcohol and get on my bike to ride.
Of course it was after the 3rd time that the light bulb came on I woke up[>:]
12stones, sounds like you did a hell of a job in a bad situation. I'm sure if you had not kept your head it would have been worse. Glad you didn't get hurt, nor did your scoot suffer.
Yeah, LOL. Hwy. 6 & any intersection is bad. Rain or no rain. I'm at 290 & Jones in the Jersey Village area. Driving the truck was tough enough yesterday.
I'm in the club sort of.
I like to pull straight out of my garage when I leave at 4:50 am in the morning so when I come in I in the evening I pull in to the garage and sesaw until I get turned around. My driveway is on an incline so turnng around outside and backing in is not an option. So one day I pull in and swing around to start the sesaw. I've got the bars turned hard right and I grabed the front brake to keep from runnning into the wall over she went two months old and down on the concrete I don't mind telling you that a UC is heavy and hard to get up off the ground my biggest fear was getting it up and it falling over on the other side. I made it man was I glad to get it on the jiffy stand.
am really glad all is well. i hope that dropping the yamaha got it all out of my system. but if not it's nice to know that i will have a place to post my story and have the much needed support that is avalible here.
