My old boss (and current riding buddy) swears by "White Cowbell Oklahoma." I generally think that anything with loud guitars is good, but those guys, and there's a Baltimore band called "The Glenmont Popes" that is AWESOME for riding.
You gotta jump thru some hoops to get the Popes, but if you call "Dangerously Delicious Pies in Baltimore, they should be able to hook you up.
I hope this isn't breaking forum rules... I have nothing to do with the Popes, I just think they're great, loud, rock 'n' roll to ride to. "Ted Nugent Condominium" is the coolest rock song ever...
I wish I could recommend my record, but it ain't exactly riding music. Someone once described it as "nice" music... Maybe good for riding if you're in a mellow mood, but...
Rammstein - Hallaluya, Kein Lust, Du Hast.
Plastic Bernard - Ca Plane Pour Moi (This life is for me)
Heart - Barracuda
White Zombie - More Human Than Human
Tom Petty - American Girl
The Cult - Fire Woman, Love Removal Machine, Sun King
Dolly Pardon - Stairway to Heaven
among others, though it is hard to hear over my V-twin.
If anyone likes good blues with saxaphone try Tommy Castro Stone crazy, Sweet little angle or She's nineteen years old. IMO some of the best blues out there.
Does anyone have a way to publish their itunes playlist? I may have several of these songs and it would be great if I could have itunes just pull from my current library and build from one of yours. There are some great suggestions for music to listen to while riding. Thanks for sharing :-)
