what is the driving force in the cost of motorcycle wheels. and don't say supply and demand either, there are too many company's out there now. Just wandering, cause regardless I'll probably splurge on a set in the next year or so.
Is it the cost of the chunks of aluminum there cut from and the amount of time in the CNC machine?

The billet aluminum and machining time are definitley big factors in figuring cost.

Im definately not knocking the wheels. they are pretty damn sweet wheels. I only wish i could afford them. just aint in the cards. I was only being curious though as to what drove the cost factor so high compared to automotive wheels and I know part of it is the center hubs and bearings.
Maybe one of these days.
Other than cost I love the new wheels. And the more options you guys have the harder the decision it is for me to decide on which ones to save up for. So I keep saving. thanks though. great wheels.
