When the pipes are hot wipe off as much as you can. Then let them cool down.
Spray easy off oven cleaner on cold pipes (and nowhere else) then heat them up by running the bike. Wipe them off.
Other options you will hear 0000 steel wool and WD-40, (or chrome polish). Don't press hard, it can scratch the pipes.
Use a penny to scrape them off, it has to be an old real copper penny.

They all work, I usually end up using nevr-dull or chrome polish to really get them clean.

EZ Off worked for me also.

I sprayed it in a cup first and applied with cotton q-tips.

Do not spray on your pipes as it will eat your paint too if you miss.

Spray the Easy off onto a rag, then wipe it on the pipes. DON"T spray it in the direction of the bike or we will be helping you decide what new color you want to paint it next.

never dull here, worked on small boot burn..seems like oven remover is the leader...as stated, don't get it on the paint.

Easy off cold oven formula over night on cold pipes. Again be careful of painted parts.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and cold water on hot pipes worked for my boot scuffs. Just have to polish the water spots off when they cool.
