If you search for the other part of that individuals screen name you should find all the info you need to know. I read the deleted threads before they were gone and there are plenty of notices not to start a thread about that member. It's your dime if you want to take the chance to deal with him. As Terry's messages state there are supporters and complaints.

For what it's worth, when I buy on ebay I look at the seller ratings. If they have 10% complaints and 90% positive I'm still not going to take that chance if I'm spending over $100.

I have bought stuff, sold stuff and even given parts for free to members. I've had great luck so far.

No problems so far. Bought and sold with ease. Thanks to those members!

I haven't bought anything off here (tried, got scooped on a Fatcat a couple days ago), but I'm sure 99% of the membership is trustworthy. It's just that when we get used to dealing with such integrity, we get complacent and there are those who will try to take advantage of that. I have bought a couple small items off ebay with no problems. I do my homework before bidding.

Lots of scammers around. Keep doing your homework and surf safe. Supposed to be 40 degrees tomorrow and the roads are mostly dry but there's still a lot of salt and gravel on them. I MIGHT get a putt in this weekend (and I ain't talking about golf)!!

I guess the cost of this lesson for me was a set of apes and about 25.00 in shipping. It cost him a scratch on his integrity. I think I got the better deal there.
That is just wrong

I also have bought, sold, traded, and given stuff on here, and it was always a great experience. But I was screwed over one time. I hate to post negative vibes on the forum, but I guess this will help me let it go. My philosophy is this, we are adults, and we are old enough to know right from wrong. And just like the guy above posted, our integrity and morals are everything. A fellow forum member, and I use that phrase loosely, misrepresented something to me, because obviously no one else wanted what he sent me. He just kept “all” the information a surprise until I got it. And he already had my hundred bucks. I know that may not be a lot of money to some people, but I work hard for my funds, and I don’t like throwing it away. In attempt to be reasonable, I tried to negotiate with him and asked for half my money back. His response was that I got was he said. I have the PM trail from him and I, where that is clearly not the case. What he sent me was not worth beans. So the day this azz-hat meets his maker, I’ll wave bye-bye to him without a tear. And if you are reading this and happen to be the non-biker that did this and feel your being portrayed unfairly, step up and lets see what everyone else thinks. Yeah, I’m sure you are not going to because not only are you an azz-wipe, you have a bike related business that advertises on the forum. I bet the publicity would be real helpful. Quite a quandary, isn’t it. So to the other 99% of us, lets enjoy life. Ok, I feel like a million bucks now. Well, 999,900 anyway. LOL

No problems here!! I've purchased from fuelmoto, Dr. V-Twin, golfblues, and did a t-shirt swap with baldric.

I'm sure golfblues and baldric might have thought i was up to no good. It took baldric way over 2 weeks to get his t-shirt from me (I think his t-shirt traveled all over the US and Canada before reaching him!) and paypal withheld my payment from golfblues (as a way to safeguard me) but I already had the item in my possession!!! I was on the phone with paypal and golfblues to get it straightened out.

I would feel real shitty if I got scammed by a forum member. I'm sorry to hear others have. Shame on those lowlives for scamming others.
