Default motorcycle jack

I am looking to buy a jack for bike maintenance. Any suggestions on what brand/model would be appreciated. Also what should I stay away from. Thanks

Do a search for motorcycle jacks on this forum and you will find several previous threads with good responses.

I have seen many people swear by the Harbor Freight one, and it's very inexpensive. Personally I have a Sears one that works great.

There's just a ton of threads regarding this subject (try the search function).....some guys go inexpensive and swear by their jack, some guys buy the spendy ones and also swear by theirs......

No right or wrong, just personal preference.

Pick what you like in your price range.

I've got the Sears yellow jack and like it just fine, others say it's unstable.

Some people have the Sears red jack and like them but others say they're cheap and unreliable.

Some have the J&S jack and swear by them but others say they're too expensive.

Some go with Harbor Freight jacks and lifts and are quite happy with them but others say they're foreign made crap.

Like someone else here said go with what you like and can afford and don't worry about what others say.

Default JP's Last Stand

I don't think I've ever seen it mentioned in the forums, but I really like JP's Last Stand: http://www.jpslaststand.com. Easy to store and doesn't take up room like my jack did. It really came in handy when I had to adjust the shock on my Softail. The regular jack was in the way.
