it sounds like alot of you guys out there really have no idea about how much cash ALOT of these guys out here in the bay area actually make a year, hell, the dude lives in the silicon valley. to many people here 20k is like pocket money, even in these economic times.
i worked on a total restoration of a guys home, wife was a stay at home mom, 2 sons going to Stanford, 1.7M restoration paid for by a single bonus from the firm he works for ( with cash left over for travel )

I've got a friend that decided to buy a new bike. Rode it home and put it up for sale. He was scared of the thing. He liked how it looked and knew his brother had ridden for years. His brother is one of the best dirt bike riders I've ever been out with. But he didn't have a clue how to ride. I was surprised he got it home without wrecking. Some just aren't cut out for riding. Maybe the same thing happened to this guy.
Don't you just love guys selling bikes like this? You get a pretty much brand new bike at a very big discount AND you don't get porked by the dealership. Garage queens are the best deals out there.
My neigbor has a 2006 RK with 1100 miles on it. But I am thinking this bike has a new odometer on it. I mean 69 miles? WTF, who didn't ride their bike at least 100 miles the first week of ownership? I am throwing the BS flag on that one.

My son in law saw a guy riding in front of him get hit and killed. The SIL almost biffed as well trying to avoid the wreck. It scared the crap out of him to the point he didn't ride for 2 years. When he got on the bike he would get so anxious he would shake and couldn't stop. He didn't know the rider that died but he saw it happen right in front of him. After his bike was stolen he hasn't replaced it. I'm not sure if he's over it completely today. He's taken mine for a ride but not far or often.
