I was pleased with HD of Ocean County in NJ, they had the ride I was looking for at a "Fair" price. The deal was finalized last week... but they did not have an extra fob in stock for the smart security system, they'll order it, I can get the bike monday.....no biggie I'll be patient... Monday, part did not come in... be ready tue., tuesday, part did not come in... maybe Wed. afternoon. I called back 6:30 tue night.... they had not even started to install the alarm or other extras I'd ordered. I told them I wanted the bike (paid in full-my badl) Wed. Skip the Alarm. I said Bergen Harley had the parts they'll install it free. Silence follows..... Klaus they sales guy says he'll get back to me. Never did.
Now you can't tell me thay couldn't have worked a deal with another shop or just used a fob off an in stock bike and reprogrammed it.
OK... your thoughts,,,, I'll admit I should have not paid out front.
Just bought my 2010 RG from them not too long ago. They kept tellin me, bike should be here today. I clear my schedule so I can pick it up...not there. this happened several times. Even turned down overtime to pick it up twice...bastards. And Klaus is a peckerhead
Had a similar experience with a different dealer when I bought my bike in 08. Couldn't do enough for me..........till I signed on the dotted line. Then I was just another sucker. Haven't stepped foot in the place since.
Purchased my bike on Friday afternoon, ask me if I would pick up on Saturday, they said they would gas it up and clean it. I said ok. Go in Saturday afternoon they hadn't even moved it off of the showroom floor. they put gas in it and said here you go. I was not happy.
Learned the hard way too.I will never pay cash for a bike again,as a matter of fact,I will never buy another bike.I'll keep the two I have untill I'm too old to ride.
More BS, passed off to the Service Mgr., not only is the FOB not in stock, neither are the Pegs or Mounting hardware which at the time of purchase, was told they were......I wonder now if the seat I ordered is there?
As we spoke, "so she said", UPS was unloading out back. If the parts are not in, I am going to demand a refund check on the uninstalled extras and take the bike today.

Engraved Rebellion: Inside Bundnerbike's Glam Rock II
I tried to deal with them for my Iron. They were a bunch of tools who wouldn't budge from a high price and wouldn't even give me a discount on parts. I felt that I could not trust any of them and after several trips, stopped going to them. Went down to Atlantic County Harley and found great prices, great people, and awesome sales throughout the year. I highly recommend them and will not buy anything from OC Harley again. I hear Long Branch HD is pretty good. They have taken care of several friends. Stay away from Ocean County HD! They did the same thing to my friend with parts for his Train two years ago.
