RE: Ebay?
I considered it in my quest to find a 1975 XLCH. But finally decided that the risk was too great on such a large purchase on e-bay since I have been burned before on smaller items. I just waited until I found one locally. Better to inspect the bike in person.

One of my buds sold his E-glide on Ebay. Worked out real good for him and the guy that bought it. The guy still calls him to shoot the bull every once in a while and has spent a fortune on upgrades from what he says.

I sold my Shadow Spirit on Ebay last year and got what I paid for it three years ago!!! I was satisfied and the buyer was tickled to death with it!!!! Also had a friend of mine buy a 97 Heritage Springer from a guy in Ohio on Ebay, turned out to be a beautiful bike at a really good price!!!!

I have bought three bikes off Ebay; very happy twice, mildly disapointed once.

RE: Ebay?
I bought the bike in my sig off Ebay a couple months ago. I just couldn't pass up the deal and I keep looking around on Cycletrader every now and then to see if I come across anything like mine for the price and still nothing CLOSE. Everyone I talk to can't believe the deal I got. Had the bike shipped 2100 miles too [8D]
