Default Electra Glide driving lights

I cant believe the cost to replace the driving lights. Anyone know if there is a cheaper replacement. $50 for the two bulbs is best i have found.

Have you tried parts outlets, like JC Whitney?

you don't have to use HD bulbs. Lots of places out there to look for those.

IIRC, they use a standard H3 bulb. You can get them at any auto parts store for under $10 each. Headlamp is also standard and available anywhere.

HD doesnt use anything magical for things like that. Just standard off-the-shelf parts.

I'm assuming you are speaking of the passing lamps?

If so, perfect time to swap out to amber lamps, if you like the look?

These are Wagner 4415A (AKA par 36's) sealed beam lamps........about 30 bucks a pair.

Sig. picture.

That's good to know. I thought they were sealed beam lamps where you had to replace everything except the housing.

How well do those light up the road? Can you see critters in the ditches before they commit suicide?

I live in the desert........I can roll over a lizard and not even notice....

......not a lot of critters here.

But they work great at night IMO......
