The Dragon is NOT CLOSED. It is still very much open, but only from the south end through Robbinsville, and the Cheerohala Skyway, with that said. The weekend looks great, there will be no big trucks running the dragon so what better time to go.......the dragon is open!!!!!!!!!!

The Dragon is open but only from down under, lol. You can still run the "dragon" in fact now it is a little safer without any semi traffic. Try the Cheerohala Skyway or US 129 north from Robbinsville. Looks to be a good weekend.

Hope they can get it cleaned up soon and get the whole road opened again. Goin' near the end of April. I don't much care for the Cherahola.... it is thru beautiful vistas and all, but so many of its' curves are large radius sweepers where ya gotta go 80+ to get the bike leaned over, and my Dyna has a mind all its' own when leaned over at higher speeds. There are plenty of other tight curvy roads besides the Dragon in the area tho.
