Just bought one on ebay and there fantastic.I know there not legal here in the UK but they are so comfy, and you get such a great view.I have got a full face,3/4 and a flip front but the 1/2 is a must.
Hell, I've got a full face, a 3/4 and a 1/2 all DOT and expensive...ALL heavy AND uncomfortable...and before someone claims they have a DOT that ISN"T that way, I'll say that it's just your perception...YOUR helmet would be heavy and uncomfortable to ME...
And on the rare occasion I wear a helmet (in a required state) it's the $20 skid lid...

I don't normally wear a helmet but when in a state where it is required I wear an old Harley DOT half lid and to me it is definitely not heavy. But then maybe my neck is not as skinny as yours.

You may have a point there...I'm a 15 1/2, IF I ever wore a shirt with a collar on it...I'm RETIRED, ya know!
